SUMMARY:2025 Farmers' Markets Conference
DESCRIPTION:Managers\, staff and volunteers of New Brunswicks farmers’ markets are invited to join the NFU-NB for a day of discussion\, collaboration and learning. \n  \nThe day will mostly be devoted to facilitated discussion on topics such as programs and resources needed\, nutrition coupon programs\, whether a farmers’ market association would benefit NB markets and more.\n  \nJustin Cantafio\, Executive Director of Farmers Markets Nova Scotia will present his recent Nuffield Scholarship Research about Public Markets.\n  \nWe hope to have someone from Public Health to participate in a Q&A session about market regulations and safety requirements.\n  \nDue to limited space we request one person per market to attend\, if you wish to have additional staff or volunteers attend please call or email Suzanne directly\, in case there is additional room.\n  \nIn person registration will be $35/person\, lunch will be provided.
