In May we hosted NB’s first Farmers’ Market Conference, to bring together market managers, staff, and volunteers who rarely have the opportunity to meet and work together. 17 market of the provinces 46 markets attended along with other provincial food systems organizations and government representatives. Discussions included marketing, funding opportunities, and whether NB should create a provincial farmers’ market association.
